On Tuesday evening, Feb. 2, approximately 200 DFL voters from around SD47 gathered at precinct caucuses at Coon Rapids High School and Champlin's Jackson Middle School. Here are the results:
- Straw Poll for Governor:

- SD47 Convention Delegates: Over 160 delegates were elected to represent the various precincts at the Feb. 27 Senate District 47 DFL Convention at Coon Rapids High School.
- Platform Resolutions: Precinct caucuses voted to send forward 133 resolutions for the DFL Party Platform and 2010 Action Agenda. Those resolutions approved at the Feb. 27 SD47 Convention will be forwarded on for final consideration at the State DFL Convention in Duluth, April 23-25.
